Club Profile..
Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated (CSCI), a non stock, non profit philatelic organization was conceptualized in 1996 and began full operations in 1997.
CSCI was established to be unique and different from other stamp clubs and is proud to be among the most active and dynamic stamp clubs in the country with members coming not only from different places in the Philippines but from other countries as well.
Aside from a membership composed of professionals, students, businessmen and politicians, Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated is the acknowledged leader in the promotion of philately in this part of the nation working hand in hand with the Philippine Postal Corporation (Philpost). It is also consistent in winning top awards and citations in various philatelic events and exhibitions.
Cebu Stamp Club, Incorporated (CSCI) not only prides itself in the field of philately but is also very active in the promotion of Cebuano arts, culture, history and tourism. Our collaborations with Philpost and other government institutions, NGO’s, corporations and the academe have always lived up to these causes.
Together with the City Government of Cebu, CSCI was responsible in having the first Cebu sponsored stamp, the TRES DE ABRIL UPRISING become an official stamp on June 12, 1998.
Our official club motto is "Philippine Philately Promotes Peaceful Progress" (coined by CSCI member David Mario Blair Taylor of England in a motto contest in 1996).
